Join us to experience the benefits of deep rest, better sleep, and emotional balance—all without needing to “do” anything but lie down and listen.

Benefits of Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra offers a wide range of mental, emotional, and physical benefits—making it an ideal practice for anyone seeking deep rest and inner healing. Regular practice has been shown to:
-
Reduce stress and anxiety by calming the nervous system
-
Improve sleep quality and support those with insomnia
-
Enhance mental clarity, focus, and emotional resilience
-
Promote relaxation and support recovery from burnout and fatigue
-
Soothe symptoms related to trauma, depression, and chronic pain
-
Support hormonal balance, especially during menopause and life transitions
-
Offer a profound sense of peace, grounding, and connection to self
Unlike traditional meditation, Yoga Nidra is accessible to everyone. You don’t need prior experience—just a willingness to slow down and rest.
What to Expect During a Yoga Nidra Session
Our monthly Yoga Nidra classes are designed to be welcoming, accessible, and deeply nurturing. Each session begins with gentle grounding—such as breath awareness or light movement—to prepare your body for rest. You’ll then settle into a comfortable lying-down position (or another restful shape supported by props), and be guided through a structured meditation that leads you into a state of conscious deep relaxation.
Throughout the practice, you'll remain in a relaxed, meditative state—between waking and sleeping—while being gently guided through body scans, visualization, intention setting (sankalpa), and breath awareness. There is no movement or effort required, and you are fully supported the entire time.
Yoga Nidra is practiced in stillness and silence, making it an ideal offering for those seeking restoration, better sleep, or relief from stress and overwhelm.
We provide yoga mats, bolsters, blankets, and eye pillows—but feel free to bring your own comforts to create your ideal rest nest.
